As of the latest WoW patch (release date August 22nd, 2006) you can now control iTunes from within WoW without having to switch between full screen mode and windowed mode. This wasn't a huge issue for me as I usually play WoW on my G5 System using a Microsft Wireless Natural MultiMedia Keyboard which allows full control of iTunes but it's going to be a huge help when playing on my 15" MacBook Pro.
You can setup the controls through the WoW Key Bindings configuration window.
The Sci-Fi channel has decided to not renew Stargate SG-1 past it's current 10th season. Stargate SG-1 is currently the longest-running science-fiction series on U.S. television to date.
It has however decided to pick up a fourth season of its more-popular spinoff, "Stargate Atlantis."
As a Stargate Fan I'm disappointed that there's not going to be an 11th season but ever since Richard Dean Anderson left the show (at the end of the 8th season) the show has been steadily declining. This isn't anyone's fault as I believe his replacement, Ben Browder (of Farscape fame) has done a great job of replacing him but it's still not the same.
Nicole and I participated in a 4 man - best ball scramble last Friday at the PGC. Even though it was only her 4th time to play on a real course and first time having to deal with Par 4's and Par 5's we ended up shooting +2 over par and ended up taking second place in the tournament.
I thought she did really well and hopefully next time we can take first place.
Well I'm back. After taking a 2 month break from blogging and using that time to work on my golf game I'm coming back. Expect more random posts as well as posts of interest over the rest of the year.
